Mark Thompson (18) from South Shields said: "I knew I wanted to work with cars but I didn't know what opportunities were available. connexions sent me to B-Skill and advised me to do a Level 1 NVQ in Vehicle Valeting. They found me a work placement with Mitre Motors in South Shields where I completed Level 1 and have now moved on to Level 2. When I complete my Level 2 I will be given a full time job."
